  1. Several good points in the article. I liked the guidelines on page 6: use facts, keep open to options, humility, patience, and recognizing the difference between preference and conviction.

    Does consensus include reluctant acceptance?

    There were several options provided relating to what to do in the event that discernment is not arrived at. Another one that I think may work is to rephrase the issue or question.
